but if you have 30 million monthly, your major also got you placements on digster, amazon, topsify, new music friday, etc which have playlists for different territories, and losing rap caviar editorial shouldn't make your monthly drop significantly 🤓
Let’s say a song lands on a popular playlist. The artist will see a massive spike in monthly listeners. But then, when that song comes off the playlist—or the DSP makes changes to their algorithm—the listener count can drop just as fast.
