I have a suspicion that doctors are somehow incentivized to prescribe antidepressants. I've been offered antidepressants for things that have nothing to do with depression. One of them was a spine injury. The fuck are SSRIs gonna do for dropfoot? Lol

Usually broken countries can’t do something other countries haven’t done in 80 years Jim. Does the blood from our soldiers ever soak the dropfoot boot of your beloved Dicktator ??

Is the extra space for the bone spurs or the AFO braces for Trump’s dropfoot? Now they’re all wearing the ugly-ass shoes he has to wear for medical reasons. 😂

Until the orthosis is received, I personally find that these two interventions are among the quickest and easiest ways to improve gait and facilitate ankle dorsiflexion in patients with #dropfoot: 1.K-taping. 2. Theraband (most effective).

@Solarstorm777 74?!?! der sieht 94 aus. I know (spinal injury, dropfoot, diabetes, etc). Still it's disturbing. I'm only 8 years "younger".
Happy 74 birthday to the legendary drummer and singer Phil Collins!

Notable dropfoot. Injury to common peroneal nerve, not uncommon with this injury. Let’s hope it comes back and he regains full motor function

Your effort matters even on the days that break you down. Today was one of those days for me. But I still put in 8 miles on the recumbent bike even though my healing knee is screaming at me. Post stroke life feels like Groundhog Day a lot. I remind myself Repetition, Repetition, Repetition.. that's how our brains rewire. I go to the gym because im disciplined. I go because every time I do, im strengthening my dropfoot. I go because I want to walk in stilettos again. Im determined. Don't give up my fellow Warriors

No one tells you stroke recovery will be hell BUT you can choose to find the silver linings. Almost 4yrs ago my entire right side was completely paralyzed from a massive ischemic freak stroke. Today, I can lift my healing leg. It's getting there. I am an eternal optimist & here are my Silver linings after my stroke: 1. No more migraines. #Iykyk 2. I can eat meat again. I was a pescetarian for 5yrs bc my stomach was missing the enzymes to break down meat. 3. I go to the gym. Even though I despise it, I do it to strengthen my dropfoot. 4. More time with my mom 5. Discovered who really is a ride or die for me in life. I know Stroke Recovery is hell. The list of loss I could list far outweighs my Silver linings BUT I choose to keep pressing on. Never give up my fellow Warriors. It gets better with time. Promise.

I don’t think I am a smart person although I have been told otherwise. Regardless, I find it fascinating. I would very much like to work in this realm. Moreover, I survived terminal cancer where I was on hospice and given less than 6 months to live that was 2 years ago, I am cancer free today without any treatment. But I have dropfoot in my left leg now. @elonmusk @neuralink I would love to test and see if Neuralink would allow me to become able bodied again as well as willing to learn and help in its development. I think that would be a dream come true. You’ve talked before about needing something that inspires you and excites you to want to get out of bed in the morning. This is that thing for me. That’s why I want to do it. Thank you for your consideration.
