The Higher Education Department has signed an MoU with Edunet Foundation to launch the AI Careers for Women (AICW) programme.
With RD University, Bhubaneswar as the central Hub, we are adopting a dynamic Hub-and-Spoke model to equip our women students with future-ready skills like Generative AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, and Cyber Security, completely free of cost. In line with NEP 2020, our goal is to train 1,000 students this academic year, scaling up to 5,000 by 2028. We are committed to building a technology-driven, women-led workforce for a New Odisha.

Addressing the Critical Challenge of AI Ethics and Trust in Software Engineering, a Galgotias University Faculty Showcased Her Study at IISc Bengaluru
At the Project Showcase & Graduation Ceremony of the AI Careers for Women (AICW) LinkedIn Fellowship held at the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, the study “The Willing But Wary Developers: AI Adoption, Trust Deficit, and Ethical Anxiety in Software Engineering” was presented by a Galgotias University faculty researcher. The fellowship was organised by Edunet Foundation in collaboration with Microsoft, LinkedIn, SAP and the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship.
Based on the Stack Overflow Developer Survey 2025, the study explores the emerging AI Trust Paradox, where developers increasingly use AI tools while raising concerns around trust, ethics and long-term implications. This recognition reflects Galgotias University’s focus on interdisciplinary research, responsible AI and meaningful academic contributions to emerging technology challenges.
