Wondering why the lights over the interstate are so bright and not motion detection if they are censor activated by fog and overcast to eliminate light pollution?
@Grok ambient light as light pollution could be minimized with angular designed awnings or sconces?
I always wondered why these uber contrarian environmentalists bent on political bias marred by thier underpinning don’t think scientifically nor contextually and bandwagon run with critical analysis such as the valid topic of whether space satellites are light pollution. Well in context they are for a certain niche of science, but environmentalist reporting in the media needs to stop using it as a lives term for corporate interests, such as labeling satellites for companies, such as Starlink, since it’s such a illogical farce that the worst light pollution comes from things within our own atmosphere , impacting earthly environments which cause mass extinctions and habitat loss I think that’s a bigger topic chew then for media exploitation of lobbyist agendas exposing corporate bias when scraped from disciplined circles of applied science. Astronomy is a niche science while environmental science considers the relational impacts of ecosystems and climatology in terms of ““ light pollution, but if anyone wants to put it in the context of how it’s effecting ecology and habitats, it’s terrestrial ground light pollution that we can do a lot to mitigate and prevent mass extinction or audits due to poorly managed infrastructure or design, or neglect of jurisdictions al allocations in lieu of lack of budget conservation .
