You truly have no clue do you ? Do the research when they closed down mental institutions. Homeless numbers surged on the streets . The majority of them had 3 hits and a cot plus their drugs covered when that was taken away that left 100s of thousands left in the streets with out their meds and the only way is to meds on the streets is street drugs . Then you add on the fact that unless people are a danger to others or themselves and you can prove it they can’t be admitted . This needs to change 2 times in my life I have had to deal with people that have fell through the cracks because they could bluff really well but were bipolar and had other issues . I have also helped homeless while working that recurved ssi lived in a home till it ran out once it ran out they took to the streets . See you see oh poor homeless . I have talked to 20-30 of them and they all said the same thing even during the pandemic. Why get a job and a home panhandling $30-300 a day 7 days a week 365 days a year vs being told what to do when to do it how to do it all the time . This was 100% of the homeless I talked and each had a smartphone .
