The 29-year-old made his own onward journey with a doctor in what is believed to be a precautionary measure.

1874 Northwich can confirm that Steve Burr will leave the club.
Northwich football royalty, Steve joined ‘74 two seasons ago and played a huge part in our success in this period.
Steve has the following message for supporters:
“My time at 1874 has been very enjoyable indeed”
“Play offs in the first season & promotion this season doesn’t get any better”
“The new manager whoever that is will want to bring his own staff in which is totally understandable. I’d like to wish everyone connected with 1874 all the very best for the future”
“It’s been an absolute blast, thank you 💚”
