In six months FOSS will catch up anyways and majority of the things I’m building can be built with regular AI available now lol
Extended Mind is going to blow the fuck up over the coming weeks, months, and years. It will go from "abstract thing people argue about" To "Every nerd hyper-optimizing their agents and extended cognition systems and sharing agent skills like FOSS." And it will be glorious

Hakuna Matata In reference to your linked post... I had the pleasure using Fable for about 3 hours. I can confidently say that the leap in capability from Opus 4.8 to Mythos is like compressing the last 3 years of AI development into a single release. Mythos is what an AI with 100% of its brain unlocked feels like instead of ~10%. Fable/Mythos IS extremely dangerous. Pretending it isn't is dangerously foolish. If they found an easy way to jailbreak the AI then I fully accept the AI being temporarily shut down. I feel bad for everyone outside the US but, eagerly look forward to having access to it again as a US citizen, hopefully. Everyone's anger that had access to it and lost it is entirely justified. I've been fully aware of the supply chain risk claim since it happened. I've been using AI the last 3 years. All centralized services are supply chain risks as they're all single points of failure. That's why the US government depends on multiple corporations running multiple social media platforms as to feed Palantir. If just Meta was the problem everyone would easily go to a different platform. However ALL centralized social media platforms are working for the feds. The don't have a choice via subpoenas. The whole reason I advocate FOSS AI is because, it's the only way to remotely guarantee permanent access to your AI. A large reason of why I'm developing HumanityOS is to guarantee I stay in contact with my people when centralized social media platforms get banned or hacked or whatever other reason they might suddenly become inaccessible. I'm giving HumanityOS for free open source CC0 because, everyone deserves the right to stay in contact with their family and friends in an actually private and secure way.

Awesome summary. Just one small typo - it is Institute of Free Technology - @InstituteFT. cypherpunk.app.bonfires.ai/g… Feature request! Please allow me to have a link to a certain update. Is this FOSS, and can I do the PR?
