Just so funny to me that Ariel Winter AND Sumire Morohoshi played kid Kairi AND the new voice of Marlene in ACC in the same year.
Funny enough, Morohoshi was also the new voice of Nina Tucker the same year too, so if Funimation didn't hold the dub license for FMAB...

I mean it’s getting better here now with Netflix releasing new Dubbed episodes with the original names intact. But I’ll always have a fondness for the Funimation Dub cause that cast was honestly perfect

With me loving the recent MOTU film, and watching the funimation classics again. Time to visit this show. I'll admit I stayed away from this one.

Well we don’t really care about what they say in Kai, cause people who watched the Funimation dub can enjoy the show without the dialogue having to be 1:1 to the manga. Nobody cared about that growing up, and people leading with that talking point weren’t around back then.

I meant to say as far as Freitas armor was not yet shed but it came back scene 3. It was a flub up by Funimation in the rerelease in the 30th adversary Kai special on Christmas Day

funimation lost the licensing to netflix and the original cast wasn’t brought back and there are no plans at all to dub it 😭

Yeah I’ll watch Kai ONLY in sub cause the trash dub still kept the trash funimation character names and technique names so they basically became the stupid actual English names in games and everything.
