So here’s some insider baseball on Platner’s stuff. I knew about the Fifield abuse allegations last October when I was in Maine. I didn’t know who it was or the extend of it. All I knew is that he got violent with an ex and she was a Republican, I hinted at them here several times, saying that Mills campaign was trying to get her on the record but she, a couple of other women, didn’t want to talk. Mills campaign knew Fifield was a Republican and that she and others were holding on to their story until it was advantageous for the GOP (1)

It’s like trying to compare two completely unrelated numbers. Saying “we have 10 times more billionaires than in 1990, therefore the average person in Maine should be 10 times wealthier” makes no sense. The total number of billionaires is a completely different metric than the average income or overall wealth of the state. These two things aren’t directly linked in anyway. BTW Maine has 1 billionaire, but 15 times more millionaires in 2026 than 1990. Limited mental capacity when it comes to logic and basic math isn’t even his only weakness... Not only did this guy have a Nazi-associated Totenkopf tattoo, which his ex-girlfriend Lyndsey Fifield and others say he openly called “my Totenkopf” for years, but he also has a documented history of abusive behavior toward women, both verbal and physical. A New York Times investigation revealed multiple ex-partners describing him as “intimidating,” “toxic,” and “disturbing.” He has called himself a “communist” and a “vegetable-growing, psychedelics-taking socialist,” posted “All Cops Are Bastards” rhetoric, made insensitive comments downplaying sexual assault, and left a trail of edgy, offensive remarks on race, politics, violence, and fascism. On top of that, he has had online romances sending sexually explicit messages to as many as 12 different women in his marriage. Quite the winning candidate.

Totally agree. And Lyndsey Fifield may have solid evidence against Platner, but the NYTimes piece didn't offer it.

And Fifield is far more credible. Platner has a pattern of behavior toward women - it's not just Fifield. Fifield provably dated Platner - there are photos of them, contemporaneous journal entries, friends that knew, & Fifield knew about the tattoo before it was public.

You believe Ford and Carroll who couldn't provide any corroboration or even guess when it happened, yet refuse to believe Fifield who has exact dates and friends who corroborate.

As for Platner, I don’t believe what his *accusers* say, in part for the same reason one of them, Republican activist, Lyndsey Fifield, said we shouldn’t believe Christine Blazey Ford; the timing & nature of the allegations. I’m only holding her to the standards she set. #Karma.
