I've seen a lot of Fil-Ams use this and claim it as theirs. Also, I have met people use 'flip' to describe Filipinos imo it's not really an issue to me as long as it isn't that Filipinx thing. Also yes, most mainlander Filipinos would prefer Filipino more than anything else lol
