I agree with the Baroness, up until about 1961 we had a cool pantry where we put the milk and butter on a cool shelf we had a cupboard with a flyscreen to put any meat in.
Our 1st fridge was from Radio Rentals. Fast food was possibly a portion of chips on the way home from scouts

Sure. I installed a Veridian Cruise Control kit at the start of this riding season and it's been a godsend for my wrist. Also added a Honda flyscreen. Didn't make much difference for wind buffeting, but makes the bike look much better.

A 24-year-old man has been charged over an alleged aggravated burglary in Port Melbourne.
Police say he broke into a Lalor St home just before 6am Tuesday after removing a flyscreen, before fleeing when confronted by an elderly resident.
Officers allege he returned to the area a short time later, stealing a handbag, keys and phone.
The man, who has no fixed address, has been remanded in custody to appear in court next week.

My housemates set out breath mints in the hope of poisoning him. It was ridiculous but sharing a room with a possum is also a bit silly. I fixed the flyscreen. Sometimes I wish I hadn't.
