Apparently, FrameMaker decided to act very “funny” today. Ha ha ha, I’m so amused Adobe FM, you can’t imagine how happy I am that you’re constantly crashing out!!! 😡😤😠

SFIA member @scottsdale_cs has introduced the KFS Framemaker 1420G3. The roll former produces lipped and unlipped channel sections for cold-formed #steelframing and meets AISI S100, CSA 136, EN 1993-1-3, and AS/NZ 4600 profile requirements.

Rückwärtskompatibilität ist ein schwieriges Problem; andererseits geben viele Anwender zu schnell auf. (FrameMaker hat neue Versionen, die vermutlich auch mit alten Dateien zurechtkommen.)
Sprachliches Detail: "Exemplaren" ist hier nicht die beste Wortwahl; besser 'Altrechnern'.

It’s kinda funny. I’ve been using emacs since the 80s when I had to teach it and vi to students on old Unix computers (sun, apollo, encore multi max, etc) and it even worked on Minix. Now I still use it and with AI I don’t really need all the extra packages anymore. It’s like wordstar was to framemaker or Microsoft word - a blank slate to type text into. I have thought of having AI start with QEmacs and add a few features while also keeping it super small. I will probably do that soon for fun.

Adobe Framemaker versions 2022.8 and earlier are affected by an Untrusted Search Path vulnerability that might allow attackers to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current user. If the application uses a search path to locate critical resources such as programs, then an attacker could modify that search path to point to a malicious program, which the targeted application would then execute.
