En mi equipo de Automattic (Growth, y de nosotros cuelga el equipo de Marketing de WordPress.com) los hemos implantado hace relativamente poco por iniciativa de la nueva VP of Growth (ex-Twitter y ex-Whatsapp). Uno de los motivo principales es que cuando ella lideraba el crecimiento de Twitter tiene claro que las OKRs fueron la espina dorsal del éxito que consiguieron. También tengo claro que Frontity no hubiera llegado a donde llegó sin las OKRs. Y éramos un equipo de 10. Supongo que es fácil no entenderlas bien, y pensar que son burocracia. Pero bien entendidas, son un framework potentísimo. Pensar que son "una moda", creo que es bastante desacertado :)

Yesterday was my last day at Automattic. Best job I ever had and end to a journey that started all the way back with Frontity. I'm grateful for all my colleagues and proud of the work we did. If you're looking for a passionate web engineer, let's chat!

It is a great product. I think a good example of what Daniel is saying in this post actually. WP Engine acquired ACF bc it has long been held up as the “defacto” fields framework. Why then did they not put their resources and energy into merging an actual fields framework into core? Something that’s long been needed. Conversely, Automattic acquired Frontity and put them to work on the interactivity api, something we ALL benefit from, for free.

Conversely; we use the interactivity api and soon realtime collaboration to replace Microsoft Word for our entire organization all for $0, all part of WordPress core. That, is the problem. I know WP Engine is new to owning ACF, but when Automattic acquired Frontity it didn’t just keep operating that product and selling it, siloed outside the ecosystem. They brought them on to build something for everyone, not just Automattic.

Partial nudal frontity? Starting fights? Raiding the trash can? I think you might be leaning a little too hard into Ginger Appreciation Day, Gonz
