1/2 Your lab work doesn't exist in a vacuum. Where you live matters. And your mitochondria know it.
You can now import your mtDNA data and know whether your mitochondrial DNA matches your environment.
Some lineages evolved for equatorial heat. Others for northern cold. If there's a mismatch between your genetics and your latitude, it can show up in your labs as low vitamin D, wrecked thyroid and inflammation.
Where you are matters.
Drop your mtDNA file onto getbased. The app resolves your haplogroup, classifies it using Doug Wallace's mitochondrial framework, and compares it against where you live.

🧬 Mitochondrial effects: 108 drugs & supplements cross-referenced against PubMed studies. If something you take inhibits Complex I or depletes CoQ10, you'll know, with a citation.
🥬 Food contaminants: your diet scanned against EWG Dirty Dozen PlasticList. Pesticide residues and plastic chemicals flagged per food.
Both feed into context. Ask chat or your @openclaw about your compounds you are likely exposed to.

Wild 72 hours.
Shipped cross-device E2EE sync in @getbasedhealth. Your health data syncs between devices, relay server sees only ciphertext. Built on @evoluhq. And it's now serving my data straight to Žofka, my AI assistant.
Žofka pulls my full lab history, genetics, lifestyle context and actually talks to me about it. Not a generic chatbot. Someone who knows my homocysteine has probably been stuck at 12.5 since the beginning of time and why.
That difference? Huge. Talking about your health with someone genuinely hooked up to help you vs. pasting labs into a chat window. First glimpses of @getbasedhealth becoming the backend for your personal AI.
Built the very first @AskVenice full attestation E2EE TS/JS lib for getbased. It's live and working. Now open for everyone.

Cross-device sync just landed in getbased.
Your data now syncs across devices — encrypted with a 24-word mnemonic. The relay server only sees ciphertext.
- Self-hosted relay, no third-party dependencies
