UK Antimicrobial Registry (UKAR) Study update by @reb_parr et al as of Nov 2023:
52 patients recruited across 9 UK sites, dalbavancin most prescribed.
The study aims to understand use, effectiveness & safety of recently licensed antimicrobials. @BSACandJAC doi.org/10.1093/jacamr/dlad1โฆ
ALT Table 1 shows the prescription of study drugs in the UK Antimicrobial Registry as of November 1, 2023. Dalbavancin was the most prescribed (56%), followed by ceftazidime/avibactam (19%). The table also includes the median age and percentage of female participants for each drug.
