“Beloved, If G-d so loved us, we also ought to love one another.” -1 John 4:11
We should always seek, first and foremost, peace and love with our earthly brothers and sisters.
“So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” -1 Corinthians 13:13 ESV

A powerful promise rereading @HeReadsTruth for Bible study tonight: “The Lord will not leave His people or abandon His heritage, for the administration of justice will again be righteous and all the upright in heart will follow it.” Psalm 94:14-15.
“Whenever we hear or feel the groans of this life—whether in the created order around us or in our own hearts—we must remember that there will come a day of glory for creation in general and for believers in particular. All temporal groaning will end and eternal rejoicing will commence when Christ comes in glory to raise His people from the dust.” @HeReadsTruthhereadstruth.com/2023/07/27/…
Doesn’t this resonate? “Justice is turned back, For truth has stumbled in the public square.” Isaiah 59:14. Good word from @HeReadsTruth today. How many of our problems in America today are because truth has stumbled in the public square?
Praise God that He is a reconciling, restoring and redeeming God. Our sin is great, but God’s love for us in Christ is infinitely greater.

If 'a dying man can do nothing easily,' how astonished ought we to be at what the Son of God did while engaged in the most difficult work any man has undertaken? hereadstruth.com/2023/02/01/… My latest over at @HeReadsTruth
I’ve been writing a few devotionals for the folks at @hereadstruth, and this week I turned in one that mentioned both my childhood freakedoutness about eternity and the new Jerusalem as a giant holy of holies.
Had a chance to write for @HeReadsTruth this Advent season. If you are in a painful, uncertain season of life this year, I pray this would encourage you towards hope in the hurting.

One thing that never ceases to amaze me is how God provides the perfect devotion for me on a given day.
I follow @hereadstruth and as we prepare for a hurricane here are a few of the verses from today’s reading:
I follow the @HeReadsTruth devotions. It’s amazing how many times God provides the perfect scripture/message for what I’m dealing with. Today is a perfect example. As we have a hurricane approaching, here are a few verses from today’s reading:
