Pakistan entered the tournament as the lowest-ranked team. Nobody gave them a chance against a star-studded Indian side.
But finals do crazy things. Fakhar Zaman edges a Bumrah no-ball early on. He survives and goes on to smash a brilliant 114.
Chasing 339, India needed their legendary top order to step up.
Instead, Mohammad Amir delivered the spell of his life. Rohit Sharma trapped LBW. Virat Kohli dropped, only to be caught the very next ball. Dhawan gone. India was 33/3 and the match was virtually over.
Hardik Pandya gave India a glimmer of hope with a monstrous 76 off 43 balls, treating spinners like club bowlers.
But a tragic mix-up and run-out with Ravindra Jadeja ended the resistance. India was bowled out for a miserable 158.
It remains Pakistan's greatest modern victory.
