Standard disclaimer below: ⬇️
Every country controls access to its own radio spectrum and telecommunications networks. To operate legally, Starlink requires approval from national regulators.
Starlink must comply with local licensing requirements, which may include restrictions on where terminals can operate, lawful interception obligations, data retention rules, or the use of local ground infrastructure. Failure to comply risks fines, service restrictions, or suspension of operating licences.
Laws apply to you based on where you are physically located and where the effects of your actions occur, regardless of which network you are connected to.
It's fairly clear cut. Starlink isn't a magic get-out-of-jail card for internet access.
