The Aranyin of Iranyin, HRM Oba Lasisi Olagbemileke Oladimeji, has once again appealed to the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, to urgently address the prolonged vacancy of the Aresa of Iresa-Adu throne, which has remained unoccupied for nearly a decade. Oba Oladimeji had earlier, in February 2026, made a passionate appeal to the governor on the matter. Renewing his call, the monarch expressed concern that the continued absence of the Aresa-Adu could further weaken security coordination and traditional administration across communities under the ancient domain. A seasoned politician, elder statesman, and former PDP chieftain in Ogbomoso Zone, Oba Oladimeji played a significant role in the electoral successes of Governor Makinde and Hon. Smato Ojo Makanjuola in the Surulere/Ogooluwa Federal Constituency. He noted that traditional rulers, Baales, and stakeholders within the Aresa-Adu domain have found it increasingly difficult to effectively coordinate security and developmental efforts without a substantive Aresa-Adu on the throne. Iresa-Adu, the headquarters of Surulere Local Government Area in Ogbomoso Zone, occupies the largest landmass in the council area. According to the monarch, meaningful collaboration among communities and settlements within the domain has become challenging in the absence of the paramount ruler. L

lol. But Soun Ajagungbade was also fighting community and trade associations together right? Oniyeye. Was Ajagungbade too going to Ikoyi-Ile or Iresa-Adu for development plan. Did Ajagungbade also fight Senator Adeseun or Alhaji Ejide or Ogbomosho Parapo. You better sit down in one place

My brother this thing is very simple. The Soun Ogbomosho has an issue with Imam Ogbomosho. You have claimed he has a problem with Christians. I have disproved that. The Imam Ogbomosho has an excellent relationship with other Christian Kings in same domain like Oba Bolarinwa Ezekiel Olajide, the Onisapa. He enjoys excellent relationship with Olugbon of Orile-Igbon. Oba Francis Alao. Which debunks the claim, he hates Christians. Now, the same Soun is in crisis with a whole list of eminent personalities in same Ogbomosho. The Soun has a running battle with Egbe Ogbomosho Parapo, an organisation founded around 1912, for Ogbomosho's benefit. A court last year, just stopped the Soun from trying to impose an Exco on the organisation. Ogbomosho Parapo is composed of Muslims and Christians. Prominent chiefs like Balogun of Ogbomosho, Chief Saka Balogun still continued to attend Ogbomosho Parapo events in defiance of the King. The King is in a public clash with Senator Ayo Adeseun, Alhaji Ejide. The Soun has also been in clashes with towns like Iresa-Adu and Ikoyi-Ile. There is also a public snub between the Soun and Olugbon of Orile-Igbon ongoing. Surely, you cannot call out the Imam Ogbomosho for having problems with Soun, when Soun himself has problems with even some of his fellow Christians within the same area. It got to a point even his Senior Pastor Adeboye did a public admonition for the Soun. Anywhere I have lied about the things I listed here, point it out.
Egbon, the headline of the story you posted is just the Ikoyi Ile people opposing Oba Ghandi 25 Years Developmental Plan as they believe they are not part of Ogbomoso. Ikoyi Ile have always opposed the idea that they are under Ogbomoso. It did not start with this King

I am a Muslim then a solid Ibadan son whose great great grandfathers came from Iresa-apa to defend the Oyo Empire. Islam is my only pride. I respect my Yoruba culture so far it does not run foul of my Islamic belief. I hate terrorism and terrorists of all cultures n religions.

ARANYIN OF IRANYIN ONCE AGAIN BEGS OYO GOVERNOR MAKINDE TO END ARESA OF IRESA-ADU 8YEARS CRISIS HRM Lasisi Olagbemileke Oladimeji, who is an ancestral member of the 'Emiolu Ruling Houes' of Iresa-Adu and the Oba Arayin of Irayin land, a border village, in Surulere LGA, Iresa-Adu, Oyo state has now added his voice to those appealing to the Governor of Oyo State to resolve the vacant throne of Aresa-Adu of Iresa-Adu, which has been vacant for nearly 8years. His Royal Highness, Oba Lasisi Olagbemileke Oladimeji is a major PDP Chieftain in Ogbomosho Zone before his ascension to the throne in 2023 as the Aranyin of Iranyin land. Oba Lasisi Oladimeji is one of the foremost Oba in Surulere LGA, Oyo state. Irayin is a boundary village on Aresa-Adu land that shares boundary with Ifon, Osun state, and has been subjected to boundary disputes with Ifon on multiple occasions. The Aranyin of Iranyin in his statement appealed to the Governor of Oyo State. He referenced how Governor Seyi Makind have resolved Chieftaincy matters in Ibadan, Oyo, and many other towns in Oyo State. He further appealed to Governor Makinde to help resolve that of Aresa-Adu of Iresa-Adu throne as well. "Governor Makinde has proven to be a Governor who listens to the people. He has resolved more Chieftaincy matters than any sitting Governor of Oyo State. That is why we are appealing to him to help us resolve that of Aresa-Adu too". Oba Oladimeji said he is an Aresa-Adu bloodline himself from the Emiolu Ruling House of Iresa-Adu and has ancestral authority over the crisis. Therefore, he is now appealing for the need to install Aresa-Adu of Iresa-Adu who is a first-class monarch in Yoruba history. "Besides being an Oba on Iresa land, I am personally a member of the Aresa Chieftaincy family. So, resolving the Aresa-Adu throne is personal to me. You cannot tell the Aranyin history without telling the history of Aresa". Oba Oladimeji was a PDP Party Chieftain in the 5 Local Governments of Ogbomoso zone, and Oyo State at large. Oba Lasisi Oladimeji was highly instrumental in the 2019 and 2023 PDP election successes and a key force behind PDP winning one of the very few House of Representatives in Oyo state. Notable is the Federal House of Representative currently representing Surulere and Ogooluwa Federal Constituency, Honourable Ojo Sunday Makanjuola. Oba Oladimeji, emphasized that "there are various vacant Kings and Baales across border towns and villages on Aresa-Adu lands. As a result of land encroachment and great need to coordinate and combat insecurity for towns and villages which also include Iranyin, a paramount Aresa-Adu is required". Recent news report shows that some criminal elements are crawling into Oyo State through border towns and villages of the state. This assertion is further proved by the recent arrest of Cattle Rustlers in Iresa-Adu by the Oyo State Police Command in January 2026. Oba Lasisi Oladimeji, expressed his sadness over the matter, he said, "I raised this concerns about the vacant Aresa-Adu throne and security lapses when the Governor last visited Surulere Local Government at the palace of the Olugbon of Orile-Igbon in January 2026". Governor Seyi Makinde visited Ogbomosho zone January 2026, in a show of solidarity with Oloka town in Orire local government which is close to Iresa-Adu over the recent deadly bandits attack on forest guards. Oba Aranyin said his Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde has displayed good intentions in his time in office. He said Governor Makinde have used executive power to resolve many vacant Oba stools in Oyo State that could have led to years of vacant thrones. He however appealed for the Aresa-Adu throne not to be left out. "We have many towns under Aresa-Adu with crowned Obas and Baales that have existed since several centuries ago. Myself, I am the 21st Aranyin of Iranyin.  But how can I be proud when the main monarch of our land is not enthroned.

Aresa-Adu Throne Vacancy: Land Dispute Forces Residents to Flee Iresa-Adu Community Tension escalated in Oke-Àrò village, located in Surulere Local Government Area of Iresa-Adu, Oyo State, as armed men reportedly stormed the community and ordered residents to vacate their farmlands. The incursion forced several villagers to flee for safety, with some spending the night in the surrounding forest. According to residents, the attack is linked to a lingering land dispute allegedly triggered by the sale of portions of the community’s land by a Baale from a neighbouring village to an unverified buyer. The Baale of Oke-Àrò, however, insists that the land in question does not belong to the seller and that no village head has the authority to dispose of the land without the consent of the rightful custodian. He emphasized that, by tradition, only the Aresa of Iresa-Adu has the legitimate authority to sell or allocate land within the area. The situation has been further complicated by the prolonged vacancy of the Aresa-Adu throne, which has remained without an approved occupant for nearly nine years due to pending government action. Residents are now calling on the Oyo State Government and relevant security agencies to intervene urgently to prevent further unrest, ensure their safety, and resolve the leadership vacuum that has deepened land-related tensions in the community.

Lord LUGARD has this to say about the Fulanis, after Dan Fodio na the same thing Bello Turji is doing today👇🏿👇🏿👇🏿 Excerpts from the writings of Lord Lugard… He described an interesting character trait of the Fulani Oligarchs. This is what they represent sicne their arrival in our part of the world…. « Their sole mission since the 1800’s is to sack rural communities, errorize the natives, invade their lands and dominate them in their ancestral homes in the most reckless way. To stop insecurity in Nigeria, many Oligarchs in the North need to be arrested and made to pay for their agelong sins of terrorizing natives of the land we know as Nigeria since the 1800’s, using religion as cover up for expansionism and land grabbing. Whatever version of the religion brought by Usman Dan Fodio is far from peace. Since 1804… His minority people in the most populous region in Africa have attacked many cities.... carted people away as slaves, burnt down places…. Kidnapped for ransom…. Destroyed farms and properties….
