We have delivered some wonderful outreach events offered by the Independent Sector offering access and partnership to local state schools and their parents. This is something that needs to be celebrated. 👏👏👏

The claim tax payers subsiding independents should have been challenged more effectively. Also no mention of SEND & the many students who have had to leave state as their needs were not met. Parents further saving the state; paying for education rather than applying for an EHCP.

About time @ISC_schools showed up to the party. You need to speak out on ALL media platforms. So much more for you to do to fight for parents that ultimately keep your lights on.

It was a refreshing surprise to see someone from the ISC actually making the case for private schools rather than just meekly saying "oh but the partnerships".

What are the "privileges" and how are they "unearnt"?

Its a promise delivered.

How does this compare to last year ?

I think if you go to a private school that specialises in dance, music or sport you have earned it. If you receive a scholarship/ bursary you have earned it. If you have SEND needs unmet by the state in is a necessity not a privilege.
