The film doesn't shy away from many of the nastier elements of the pre Christian world like infanticide and human sacrifice but it also doesn't depict Alexander like 1950s cinema depicts Nero. He is a hero and great man, even if one from a very flawed time and society.

Abortion doesn't make me sad because abortion isn't wrong, it isn't impeding on the right of a person and infanticide very much is.
irritating to me how so many people act like you can't be sad about something like that and still not actually oppose it. oh you got emotional about the possibility of preserving a life which proves you know it's wrong to end it. it's definitely an extension of abortion arguments

You certainly implied it. otherwise, why would you see infanticide as acceptable? The fact that it has historical precedent doesn't make it ethically acceptable, it's not. Where exactly do you think the line is that infanticide becomes unacceptable?

I don’t like abortion. I don’t like infanticide. I don’t like killing anybody. I think we need to influence people’s decisions when they are considering killing. If that makes me controlling, I’m controlling. I also think we need to stop people from raping and SA. So controlling.

You don't know plenty of women who are braver than men, stop lying. Stop acting like 1 or 2 examples disprove the rule, that's low IQ logic. Women have the highest rates of infanticide because you attack the weakest/defenceless in society, the most cowardly act I can think of.
