Ruby C (Year 11) competed in the Lancashire Cross Country Championships in at Towneley Park on Saturday. Ruby finished in 2nd place 🥈& an under 17's team silver🥈 Ruby will now go on to represent Lancashire at the Intercounties Championships in March! Well Done Ruby!

Congratulations to Emilia Pyper, Eleanor Wheeler, Beth Manson (y10) and Nia Manson (y8) who were all selected to represent cheshire at the Northern athletics Intercounties event in York yesterday.

Another busy weekend for Liverpool Harriers athletes. Sunday sees the YDL Upper team travel to Deeside. Monday, those selected for Merseyside U15/U17 compete in the Northern Intercounties at York. In addition, Trafford has its normal BH meeting.

Our esteemed members, the price of freedom is eternal vigilance. In our meeting this morning with the Cabinet Secretary Health this morning we addressed the pending issues from our CBA 2017. 1. Interns - balloting and posting dates ready 2. SHA - objected to the locking out of our members every 9th day of the month for counties failure to remit. Agreed on a longer moratorium 3. Post graduate fees - To be cleared within the month 4. Basic salary arrears - both for MOH and County doctors plus second tranche of disbursement (July) and for those who inadvertently missed or were underpaid (this month ) 5. UHC - full absorption into PnP within this financial year with the monies released from the Ministry to the counties since thats where they work 6. Pending matters - car loans and mortgages, functional KHRAC to ensure seamless HRH flow intercounties 7. Next meeting scheduled in a month's time to take stock and tackle the other pending matters in the CBA eg promotions and consice look into the terms of post graduate training in the country. The issue of post graduates deserves a full meeting of its own based on the heat it generates. We are certain to turn that heat into light. Success is the culmination of many small wins.
