My son Zach (now 23) is the kid on the far left. The band is Sometime Soon, their album is on SoundCloud. Its a REALLY sweet 90s-esque (happy punk?) album of teen angst. They were 3 17yr Olds and a 14yr old (drummer) at the time.

Holy, in its early days, Cursor accounted for roughly 40% to 50% of Anthropic's revenue. And Claude Code was just a reserach project. How quickly everything has changed.
NEW: Inside Cursor's wild rise. Lots of great new details: • CEO Michael Truell didn't pay himself for years • Cursor once made up 40-50% of Anthropic's revenue • Anthropic told Cursor that Claude Code was just a 'research effort' (lol) • Cursor's unpaid "work trials"

American health care has its own drawbacks. But if you are trying to use it to white wash drawbacks of Indian health care system then problem isn’t me but you! I can say with 100% guarantee that none of the guys criticizing me will EVER take their wife to any random sarkari hospital for delivery.

Expensive healthcare and ripoff insurance premiums are probably the number one cause of angst among Americans, and that's been a case for decades. But trust random Indians to have the temerity to whitewash this reality with their own limited experience.

Today has the potential to mark a new era for education in Northern Ireland as the consultation on a new curriculum framework launches. A curriculum which encapsulates ambition and excellence for ALL. As someone who has led the introduction of a knowledge-rich curriculum into both selective and non-selective settings in NI, I have witnessed first-hand how it can be the greatest 'leveller' in education, ensuring that all young people are on a level playing field regardless of their background or circumstances. A rising tide lifts all boats. I have seen for myself how - over time - it enhances domain-specific skill, ensuring a smooth and secure pathway between knowledge and strong skill acquisition. I have seen for myself how it raises standards and outcomes, expediting social mobility and life chances for our children. I have seen for myself how it aligns with the most effective pedagogy which has impact, including retrieval practice. The lack of specificity in the outgoing curriculum, whilst well-intentioned, led to at best wild variance in what children know, at worst large gaps in knowledge which were impossible to fill. This, by default, led to the 'Matthew Effect' - those children who knew core knowledge automatically progressed well, those who didn't floundered. The new curriculum framework proposals are timely and welcome, and should help to address effectively the issues in the NI education system, including the tail of underachievement. And not a moment too soon. True, effective, meaningful change takes time if we are to get it right. Real effort has been made to stagger the change over the next six years to make it as effective, impactful and manageable as possible. If we get it right in the next six years, we will be leaving the Northern Ireland education system - and by extension the country - a legacy which will last 60 years and more. A legacy of academic excellence and ambition as well as a legacy of well-educated, successful citizens who will contribute to the economic wellbeing and cultural development of our country for generations to come. I am happy to support fully the TransformED agenda as it is based in its entirety on a foundation of strong evidence-based research as regards what works best in education. The most successful educational systems in the world have followed a similar trajectory. Northern Ireland is about to join them, I sense. Congratulations to @paulgivan, @Education_NI and all others involved.
Tomorrow, the Department of Education will launch the new Northern Ireland Curriculum for consultation. The new curriculum represents a once-in-a-generation opportunity to transform education for all of our young people. Over 400 school leaders, educationalists and academics will come together to learn more about the new curriculum and what comes next. #TransformED

The RSS must clarify its legal status, registration, office bearers, funding, expenditure, taxation and permissions for public activities. If everyone complies with the law, why should the RSS remain exempt? Brilliant move @PriyankKharge ji
Dear Shri Mohan Bhagwat ji, My letter will reach you shortly. However, I thought it was important to draw your attention to this matter early. ——————————- Firstly, congratulations to the RSS on completing 100 years. An organisation that claims over 60,000 shakhas and crores of swayamsevaks must also uphold transparency and constitutional accountability. As per RSS’ highest and most important decision making body Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha’s 2025–26 Karnataka report, the RSS has 4,127 daily shakhas, 1,389 weekly milans, 60 monthly mandalis, 2,194 Samajotsavas with 19.61 lakh participants and held 562 route marches with 2.21 lakh uniformed participants in the state. With such scale and influence, the RSS must clarify its legal status, registration, office bearers, funding, expenditure, taxation and permissions for public activities. If citizens, labour, NGOs, trusts, temples and companies are expected to register, disclose and comply with the law, why should the RSS remain exempt? In its centenary year, the RSS must responsibly abide by the Constitution and register, disclose, pay applicable taxes and function transparently within the Constitution. As suggested in my letter, I am looking forward to hearing from @RSSorg soon. @DrMohanBhagwat @RSSorg

Im not saying Its feminist. Im saying the story doesn't treat those flaws as disqualifying in a way that female characters often experience in other media. They're allowed to be ugly, contradictory people without being "fixed." Theyre allowed the same narrative freedom as the men
I mean, it's not shown to be good, either. And it suits the life of a mercenary, it's not because it's super feminist. It's the same with the men characters. They're assholes and it's fun to watch
