To be clear, I vetted the results it gave me, and was able to go back and forth figuring out the answer.
One of the hurdles I overcame was the fact that the local KBOX radar was down that night, and I hadn't considered looking at the next closest radar (KOKX)

💥☄️ Explosion d’un météore au-dessus de la région de Boston : un objet d’environ 1 mètre de diamètre, une détonation équivalente à 300 tonnes de TNT et une probable retombée de fragments dans la baie de Cape Cod. Résumé des dernières informations. ⬇️
🔹 La NASA a confirmé qu’un météore d’environ un mètre de diamètre s’est probablement fragmenté hier à une altitude de 64 km au-dessus du nord-est du Massachusetts, près de Boston. L’énergie libérée, estimée à près de 300 tonnes de TNT, explique la forte détonation entendue dans la région.
🔹 Selon les informations relayées par Boston 25 News, l’agence spatiale américaine estime que les éventuels fragments ont très probablement terminé leur course dans la baie de Cape Cod, dans une zone où les profondeurs de l’eau peuvent atteindre 30 m.
🔹 Bien que de nombreux habitants aient entendu l’explosion, les conditions météorologiques très nuageuses ont fortement limité les observations visuelles du phénomène.
🔹 Comme le rapporte @TylerJankoski de NBC5, l’une des meilleures détections du météore provient du radar météorologique NEXRAD WSR-88D (KBOX), situé à Taunton, dans le Massachusetts. Quatre balayages radar ont notamment permis de suivre la chute des débris.
🔹 Enfin, le satellite météorologique GOES East a détecté, via son cartographe géostationnaire de la foudre, une série d’éclairs simultanés s’étendant sur près de 80 km. Une signature inhabituelle qui correspond à l’explosion du météore dans l’atmosphère.
👉 Au final, aucun dommage n’a été constaté. Le phénomène s’est limité à une spectaculaire détonation !

The meteor on Saturday was spotted as far away as Canada and appeared on several radar scans. Based on an extensive analysis of all available radar data, if any debris reached the ground, it would be in Cape Cod Bay, north of Barnstable and west of Eastham. (1/3)

The best depiction of the meteor comes from KBOX, the NEXRAD WSR-88D located in Taunton, Massachusetts. Four scans, between 2:08:10 p.m. and 2:08:58 p.m. clearly captured falling debris. It it possible a few scans around 2:11 p.m. captured debris around 3,800 feet. (2/3)
