When Claire Fiester was 9, she had the incredible opportunity to interview Dr. Michael Hayduk, Deputy Director of the Air Force Research Laboratory
@AFResearchLab Information Directorate, for the cover of
@AFCEA's
@signalmag' Kids magazine. The article was called, "Inventing Air Force Technology." They talked all about
#QuantumComputing. So thankful Dr. Hayduk took the time to make this happen and patiently answered all of her questions. Claire still remembers it fondly today.
Thank you
@AFRL and AFCEA!
Excerpt... "Have you ever heard of the Air Force Research Laboratory (aka AFRL)? They are inventing the future for the U.S. Air Force. Isn’t that cool? They work on things like computers, drones and even quantum technology, which I think is awesome. All of this technology helps protect our nation better. It could be a new type of plane, a new type of satellite or maybe a new type of computer.
I interviewed Dr. Michael Hayduk to learn more. He is the deputy director of the Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate based in Rome, New York. His favorite part of his job is that he gets to see all the cool technology that his scientists and engineers are developing. He doesn’t have many least favorite parts of his job, but one thing he doesn’t like is that they have so many great ideas, but they just don’t have enough time to work on everything."
