According to William Santana Li, Knightscope founder and CEO, true AI reliability isn't born in a lab — it’s earned in the field. While simulations are a start, they can never replicate the infinite variables and "unpredictable abuse" of the real world. In an episode of the Loop podcast, he goes over the  engineering discipline required to build robots that actually work. Mastery of the environment is the only path to mastering the mission, he says.

Here’s a question most CSOs have never asked their security provider: who ultimately controls this company — and where do they sit? We looked at the national contract security market. What we found: ✔️ Major national guarding companies are owned by private equity with foreign pension fund shareholders ✔️ Others are publicly listed abroad, with voting control held by overseas family holding companies ✔️ Controlling ownership in this market changes hands repeatedly, on transactions where you have no visibility Your security data (patrol patterns, access records, facility vulnerabilities) is a living blueprint of your exposure. When the company holding it answers to foreign ownership, so does that blueprint. Knightscope is different. Publicly traded on NASDAQ ($KSCP). U.S.-only operations. No foreign parent. No offshore owner. American technology, built by Americans, to protect Americans. If you’re doing vendor-risk reviews and physical security isn’t on the list — it should be. 🔗 Read the full CSO briefing: hubs.ly/Q04kNgV90

Knightscope is honestly one of the few companies i have hope for because of the non weaponised systems you develp, and the possibility of integrating non lethal High velocity air accelerated rubber projectiles into your drones, but i have no tech experience and was homeless.

The future of security tech is always being told by the line between discrete vs. conspicuous technology we are as a society interested in keeping ahead. We want intelligence, but we don’t want surveillance. We want safety but we don’t want intrusion. The line from Palantir analyzing a camera feed and a Knightscope quadrupe.

The Robotics Boom is Here: 2026 Could Be Massive for This Sector 🤖 The robotics industry is hitting an inflection point in 2026. AI-powered autonomy, humanoids, versatile robots, and real-world deployment are accelerating fast. The technology may not be fully there but the funding and the orders are. According to the International Federation of Robotics, we're seeing record installations, Agentic AI making robots smarter and more independent, IT/OT convergence for flexible manufacturing, and humanoids proving themselves in real environments. (Seen below) Labor shortages and AI breakthroughs are driving adoption like never before. While giants like ISRG, NVDA, TSLA, SYM, and TER dominate headlines, the real multi-bagger potential (2-5x gains) often lives in innovative small-cap plays trading under $10. These companies are nimble, while they may not be the forefront of robotics they are solving niche problems, and positioned for explosive growth if they execute on contracts and tech milestones. Here are the robotics stocks I'm closely watching in 2026: $ARBE (4D imaging radar for autonomous vehicles & robotics) $KITT (Nauticus Robotics – underwater/subsea robots for offshore & defense) $STXS (Stereotaxis – robotic navigation for medical procedures) $MBOT (Microbot Medical – miniature medical robots) $KSCP (Knightscope – autonomous security robots) $RR (Richtech Robotics – service/hospitality robots) $PDYN (Palladyne AI – AI-driven robotics solutions) $SERV (Serve Robotics – sidewalk delivery robots, scaling fast with big partners) What’s your favorite robotics play for 2026? Drop it below #Robotics #SmallCaps

Knightscope Autonomous Security Robots are built with advanced object avoidance and smart navigation, all of which are used to dynamically analyze their environment in real time. If something enters their path, whether an object or person, they respond safely and predictably: pausing until the way is clear or smoothly navigating around obstacles at walking speed and within their patrol zone. Safety is always the priority, for the community and for the patrol itself.

During a Huntington Park City Council Meeting, Chief of Police Cosme Lozano at Huntington Park Police Department had the following to say when asked on their Knightscope partnership renewal: “The reality is that a patrol officer cannot do what modern technology can do through the use of this robot. One of the significant features of the robot is that it records activity in high definition 24 hours a day seven days a week. It also provides an alert button feature where patrons of the park can communicate with our police dispatch should they feel they need to. It provides a license plate reader feature where the robot is actually collecting data of license plates that it can read during its route and it collects this data, it just simply stores it. We can go back and feed a license plate into the system to see if that license plate had a hit in the park and that could help in investigations. It also has an intruder sensor, if you will, and basically it lets us know somebody is in the park during hours when the robot is programmed to designate the park as being closed. The robot technology is not intended to eliminate or reduce the work of human police officers, simply to enhance our ability to deliver police services. You can think of it if you will as a patrol vehicle. Meaning, the patrol vehicle creates the presence and that extension of the police department and quite honestly the officer wouldn't be able to do the effective job that he does without the patrol vehicle. So it is not a replacement of, it's simply to enhance the way we deliver police service to the community and to leverage modern technology to engage all of these added features”

We’ve all heard of Software as a Service ( SAAS ) but have you heard of Robotics as a Service ( RAAS ) ? Let’s dive in: Robotics as a Service is a subscription or pay-per-use model for robots without large upfront capital costs. This model is very popular in the logistic and delivery sector. Other areas of traction include: - Healthcare - Cleaning and hospitality - Domestic and personal While the robotics sector in general has been gaining traction with Robotics venture funding reaching record levels, there has been significant and accelerating traction in service robots. According to Fortune Business Insights: “Service robots (professional/commercial and domestic/personal) are one of the fastest-growing segments in robotics, driven by labor shortages, AI advances, e-commerce/logistics demand, healthcare needs, and aging populations.” We all know Big Tech companies have invested billions into Robotics, companies like $TSLA and $AMZN. But are there any companies specializing in RAAS? The answer is yes. Lets take a look: - $SERV Serve Robotics “Focuses on autonomous sidewalk delivery robots (e.g., partnerships with Uber Eats). Uses a RaaS model with subscription or per-delivery pricing, including maintenance and support” - $KSCP Knightscope “Develops autonomous security robots (e.g., K5 outdoor models) for patrols, monitoring, and emergency response. Operates primarily on a Machine-as-a-Service / recurring subscription model with remote monitoring” - $RR Richtech Robotics “Offers service robots for restaurants, hotels, and other hospitality settings (e.g., beverage/delivery bots). Actively pivoting to RaaS for recurring revenue through multi-year agreements.” - $KITT Nauticus Robotics “Specializes in subsea/ocean robotics for inspection and intervention. Delivers solutions via a RaaS model alongside software (ToolKITT) and hardware sales” Overall RAAS is growing rapidly. The RAAS market is projected to reach several billions by 2030. Note: Companies and stocks listed can be very volatile due to dilution risk and the execution challenges. Charts in the comment section.

$KSCP - Knightscope I have started a small position in Knightscope after the stock pulled back to its critical $2.49 support floor. As shown on the 4H chart, this level was a major bottoming area back in September '25. My average entry price sits right on the white dashed line at $2.83. Looking at the weekly chart, the last time the stock hit this level, it had a massive 300% rally. While ongoing dilution risks mean history won't necessarily repeat perfectly, the underlying fundamentals are actually starting to clean up. In their latest earnings report this week, Knightscope revealed: - Quarterly revenue effectively doubled to $6.0M - Achieved their first-ever positive gross margin. Physical AI and autonomous robotics remain a massive macro trend, and their security units fit the bill perfectly. This is planned strictly as a tactical swing trade. My first upside target is the yellow line at $3.53, where we can expect to encounter resistance. NFA $KSCP
$KSCP - Knightscope is a tough one to look at right now. The chart is admittedly ugly; the stock is in a long-term downtrend and currently trading well below its major moving averages. The reason it’s down so much? Consistent dilution and a high burn rate have weighed heavily on the share price. However, we are currently sitting right on a major historical floor. The level around $2.45 acted as a significant bottom in May '25. If you’re looking for an entry zone, this is the area where the risk-to-reward ratio finally starts to favour the bulls. Why I’m still watching: I'm a fan of their RaaS (Robots-as-a-Service) model. They own the hardware but rent it out and manage all software updates in-house. Crucially, these are "American-made" at their Silicon Valley headquarters using a solid supply chain: Manufacturing: E and M Inc. (automated manufacturing) Components: Quigley's Auto Body (body panels) Sensors: $OUST (Lidar sensors) Power Modules: $VICR We stay patient here. I’m watching for a double-bottom confirmation at the $2.45 level before believing in a real trend reversal. Robots seem to be a hot topic as of lately! NFA
