Day 2 of our investigation! We discovered that glucose was both inside and outside of the dialysis tube, but starch only stayed inside of the tube. Love the real world connections students are making! @CSMS_Huskies @lex1science @OpenSciEd

We are investigating bath bombs and which ingredients cause them to fizz. Students are testing combinations to see which cause a fizz. 🧪@CSMS_Huskies @lex1science

First step is we need to show them what science learning brings to kids, science supports literacy and equity. I think we need to show the joy kids experience in science learning! We often focus primarily on the negative - all the things we DON'T do.

I sincerely hope not. Doing the same thing longer and louder will not improve literacy scores but providing meaningful science and social studies instruction will!

Stop this madness!!

Yes with but the most recent NAEP scores it's time to try something different? Better than doing the same longer & louder...fingers crossed. The other issue,it's an #equity issue. Children are owed quality science & social studies instruction. It's their RIGHT, not a PRIVILEGE!
