Last week, Jacqui from Smartbox visited our Oldham office to introduce the new Eyetuitive eye tracker.Craig, Chloe and Tiff had the opportunity to try the calibration process, explore Grid, and play LookLab games to see how the eye tracker worked for them.

Not only that. We just need a more peaceful environment again. 2021 had Looklab, press conferences, streams from the press centre and it was in a time where the geopolitical situation was quite calm compared to where we are now.

Honestly I'm just wondering... where did all the content go? I understand that looklab specific to the 2021 contest but I remember all the videos of contestants being asked what their guilty pleasure is or reacting to songs or guessing the language of songs like what happened?

I think the EBU tries to recreate the LookLab success with Rylan now and I do love Rylan and his enthusiasm, but it lacks the same spirit. And I also understand that the pressure is lower without those press conferences, but the artists also benefitted from the extra exposure

ever since 2021 a great sign for whether a broadcaster is excited about hosting or not is whether they have a looklab/be my guest interview format. so far it's been an accurate indicator

She was co-hosting the eurovision song contest a few years back and is a fairly popular YouTuber. For years nobody could tell until she was outed by someone else.
Look up "esc LookLab" on Youtube to see her doing the interviews. She feels completely natural.
