No problem! I just think mathgrind may not follow the grindcore formula to its roots but there is grindcore in it's dna it's just the breakdowns and slightly more polished production in mathgrind takes the front

The idea of what's commonly known nowadays as mathgrind being into false grind territory kinda makes sense

Grindcore has certain connotations of vocals, drumming, riffing and importantly structure that mathgrind does not contain as a perequisite and very rarely ventures to fully include

The locust, daughters, fuck the facts, number twelve etc are all mathgrind . Those bands have pretty little to do with grind (barring some sections of the locust discog, but those wouldnt be mathgrind necessarily)

Its 2 diff things . Mathgrind has little inherent relation 2 grind - it is *the falsegrind* sound

Techgrind works much better than mathgrind as a genre name
