We are happy to welcome our new intern, Marie Terzian Benichou. She is a master’s student in international migration at the MIGRINTER laboratory at the University of Poitiers. As part of her training, she has been developing research work dedicated to the forced displacement of Artsakh Armenians since 2023. Her work is part of a broader analysis of the contemporary dynamics of forced migration, with particular attention to the territorial issues of forced displacement.
She plans to continue this research within the The Regional Center for Democracy and Secuirty (RCDS), with the aim of analyzing the responses of the Armenian government to the forced displacement, through the study of public policies and institutional arrangements in place, as well as to examine the dynamics of
marginalization and vulnerability likely to result from it.
At RCDS, she will contribute to the various projects carried out by the centre on refugee integration, with a particular interest in initiatives related to their economic integration.
