Over the last 12 months, I enrolled in a cybersecurity bootcamp with TechCrush to brush up my foundational knowledge of what I have learned with the Tech4Dev cybersecurity bootcamp and also finished the Cisco NetAcad cybersecurity. Currently I am rounding up my 100 Days of Cybersecurity challenge and currently preparing for my (ISC)² CC exam. Being someone without a degree in anything related to cybersecurity or computer science but with a degree in agriculture, I am intentional about breaking into the cyber world, and to make it possible, as I can't journey alone, I joined the Guardian of the Cyber Realm community to connect with like minds that will be able to guide me through. I got a laptop when I started documenting my learning on X through an anonymous account, and I will be glad if I'm given the opportunity to drink from your source of knowledge, Ma. Thank you, ma'am.

Good morning @ireteeh, my name is Benita a recent computer science graduate and my cybersecurity journey started around November last year. I got into an accident which takes time to recover from but I didn’t choose to feel sorry for myself or let the time pass me by because I am someone who likes being productive I decided to go into what I always wanted to do which is cybersecurity. I started off with Cisco netacad, took the networking basics and configuration courses with my phone because my laptop was bad at the time. Once I got a new laptop I knew that the best way to grow and be accountable was to join a community (tsacademy) were I have learnt a lot, not just about cybersecurity but about working with others and learning from them. I also noticed that some of my tutors are also your mentees and they represent you really well. Back in school I had the opportunity to work in teams were I was either the team leader or a member who was a very good team player. What I will bring to this program is consistency, willingness to learn and curiosity. I am excited to discuss more on this. Thank you for the opportunity.
