Actually, thinking about it, I doubt they’d kill him off properly if the nonsimulation theory was the case, since that would make Natsumi’s death and Mahiru covering up evidence pointless.

if thats the case, then Fuyuhiko dying (which is likely), would be an ACTUAL DEATH, and while in the simulation, the development would be great, imagining him canonically dead would ACTUALLY RUIN ME
