Oh really? I ate in the Northloop last month and it was great. I travel out of MSP all the time. O issues, my kids go to a western suburb HS and it’s good. I don’t go to the MOA because it sucks in general and a tourist trap.

Both the Northloop and NE have made significant developments over the last 10 years. Downtown has also experienced significant population growth and residential development. Uptown is going through an ugly, but necessary rebrand/rebirth if you will

I don't really agree that it's entirely a "safety" issue. Minnesota has unfavorable conditions for businesses, especially in the downtown area. Covid hit hard, coupled with increased minimum wages, the riots a few years back, etc., it was basically a never ending series of issues that lead to the current state of the Minneapolis DT area. However, areas like the Northloop have been doing pretty well over the last 2 years.
