It's way too many flowers and you likely overestimate my skills - though I hope my next clients will think so 😄. Thanks a ton, feels good to hear! Big fan of OpenFPL forever!

You will win points in the following ways: - FootballGod’s Premier League correct score prediction game (soon) - FootballGod’s World Cup prediction game - OpenFPL (will return after World Cup) No they are not NFTs, just zero value collectibles linked to the live data Jeff Bets is a whole new way of betting, you don’t make bets, you build rules based on patterns you notice and bets happen automatically, like if player scored in the last 2 games bet on him to score first in the next. It’s this thing I’ve created called pattern based betting. Just want to build the brands, user base, podcast audience etc Then in 18 months after a full Premier League season I’ll have proved it all works

We have some pretty awesome brands created by a world class designer coming over, like OpenFPL for fantasy football. 10m people sign up each year for the web2 version and earn no rewards, perfect for @baseapp integrations.

Yeah all over that, we have plans to drive people to base through various football (soccer to you) related stuff. We have a few sites we are moving over from another blockchain that’s dead. We will have FootballGod which will be football news and mini games. Fantasy football from our OpenFPL game. A cool trading card game for players called Transfer Kings. Also have a football betting site like no one has ever seen called Jeff Bets. Is there like a dev forum as I have loads of questions. Like my team needs to manage admin data, obvs we looking to store in supabase Postgres but we need auth but also want to use inside base app. It’s a heavily data driven stack, where is best to ask questions for devs coming over. @baseapp is the future.

Hopefully we can bring OpenFPL back soon. Also we will reskin this for the World Cup.

Good morning #ICPeople. I built a small game for Euro 2024. It's costs 100 $FPL to enter (~$3). You don't have to fill it out in one go, save whenever and make changes up until the tournament kicks off. You can enter here: footballgod.xyz #ICP #FPL #Euro2024

We can’t have that because we don’t have products. I don’t even know how to onboard anyone to ICP as a user right now. I was able to when we had OpenFPL and zkPoker.

We had OpenFPL and zkPoker, but I guess that wasn’t enough. Dom could talk about these on any big stage: Look, we have an FPL game on ICP with thousands of users competing for prizes, and we also have a poker game that uses our open-source randomness code...

We had zkPoker and OpenFPL both die infront of our eyes due to funding. These are the apps that could onboard millions. We can have the best DEXs, lending, borrowing, staking protocols, but none of that will get us real adoption. Sad.

Indeed mate, few can articulate how they would move web2 profits to web3 users. OpenFPL and the broader ICFC ecosystem perfectly utilises the fantastic technology Dom has created, to use data backed by a governance system to run OpenFPL and settle bets on JeffBets autonomously, fully decentralised is such a good story for them to tell. To do this in the most popular organised human activity on the planet has always seemed like a no brainer to me.

I may be biased, but I am disappointed that the foundation does not recognize the significant potential of OpenFPL.

ICP’s problem isn’t tech — it’s adoption. The most advanced blockchain in crypto, yet we still don’t have the user numbers to match it. Imagine OpenChat with 1M daily users. Imagine Hot or Not doing the same. Imagine OpenFPL hosting millions of fantasy football players. Right now, ICP lacks a massive product–market-fit winner. But that’s where CaffeineAI changes everything. I’m betting that soon, 100,000 new sites will be created DAILY with Caffeine. When that happens, ICP’s adoption problem is over. #ICP #internetcomputer

This coffeezilla video: youtube.com/watch?v=9Ii1ROze… highlights the need for a DAO just like ICFC to help change the way people interact with sports betting. I think the model I've created has a lot of merits to fix problems that stem ultimately from corporate greed. People are always going to want to bet on sports, we just need to change the behaviour of people to ensure they do this responsibly. ICFC does this with a few mechanisms that help towards this: - Winning free tokens with sports knowledge is done through our fantasy football platform. OpenFPL enables you, a sports fan, to win a little bit of token in each game by having the highest scoring player but also win bigger amounts of the token by positioning on leaderboards for the week / month / season. This first step is kind of a way to you to prove you deserve to be able to gamble, showcasing some football knowledge to earn some ICFC means you can then enjoy gambling as you've earned the right to do so. - Accessing ICFC ecosystem apps utilises 'Proof-of-Stake' membership, this means that you can only use the services if you are an owner of the ecosystem. This is important as our gambling site mechanism burns losing bets, indirectly making you money as you use as the overall token supply goes down, as an owner you see a benefit there. The core of the system and the core of any DAO is you are the owner, there is no greed, just a distribution of the profits that no longer go to a handful of people but to the majority of users. These are the services ICP needs to focus on to showcase how the infrastructure can truly change the world.

interest. Plus no community fund (CF) for the sale. He didn’t raise up to the amount the other currently failed projects were raising. 2. He didn’t abandon any project or anything. Before the decentralization sale, OpenFPL was a working dApp - and every week, there were…

I do show off the lavish meals I have to Mother Also, I dunno if anyone realises, OpenFPL isn't even dead... Like IP doesn't die just been moving it into a more efficient single canister structure now on a budget. So yeah I bought a boat, with unlimited solar power to ensure I could code on my stuff forever, terrible investment lol

That scumbag beadle who started openfpl is known and he still scammed all his investors. Icfc is basically a dead sns project at this point.

So I look at other chains from a technical point of view, looking for a new place to achieve my goals. I HATE that ICP is this good. At this point I wouldn’t even call it a blockchain, there are no blocks being chained together, which I think is the premise of a lot of the other chains, simply aiming to immutably prove things. ICP on the other hand is more concerned with speed and scalability. ICP is the perfect decentralisation option, removing all external dependencies allowing it to focus on building organic features that complement its 100% on-chain nature. There’s blockchains, then there’s decentralised infrastructure - it can literally change the world, I hope it does. Ultimately I don’t think it will, running costs will only increase and unless mass adoption is achieved, by users, it’s done. Mass adoption is mentioned in other chains but they can’t scale a real app to get enough people to change their behaviour, that’s what is required for mass adoption, behavioural change in people, this will come from a kind of brand loyalty that true decentralisation can bring. Say DFINITY supported OpenFPL instead of just ignoring it, that’s the way to mass adoption, getting millions of people in a really popular medium to be comparing 2 services, in their head they will ask, what’s the difference here. It’s that respect that a user is given that will generate brand loyalty, this is made for you, to make your life better and the web2 version is made for them, to profit off your life. Then when they want a new type of app they will instinctively check what the ICP app is in the category they want. Say you have a consumer and you sell them a car, you don’t exploit them, you make them feel valued, you may even help them make a little money (like a Tesla paying you for ride shares) - when you then need another car, you will be loyal not to a company but to a medium of expectation, the expectation to not be exploited. If we are always saying ‘buy this now and you can make more money later’ it’s actually insulting to most of the world who don’t gamble, let alone want to profit at the expense of someone else. I get most people reading this hold ICP, not for computational purposes but to sell it and make money, whether through distributing maturity etc and that’s fine, you deserve to never work again on one condition. If you genuinely help dismantle our exploitative world, through doing what is right, watch what will happen, buyers will arrive, a lot, not to gamble but to help continue the revolution decentralisation offers.
