Yup. Not sure why this dynamic changes in the future either. I went to a good public school in Kansas where only the top 10 out of my 500 graduating class went to Ivies. 1 went to Brown/PLME, 2 Harvard, 3 Stanford, 4 me (Brown) with the rest of the top 10 going to top liberal arts schools like Amherst or Wesleyan. At Brown I was shocked at how many of my freshman class already knew each other and how some of these feeder schools had like 5 kids each in my freshman class. i had her go to brown lol bc they have that plme program i think would be appealing to her and are a D1 gymnastics school. and it's very competitive. at least that's what my very hasty research turned up
