I mean the triada was a very good and enough solution (Angular, React, Vue) but then everyone started to create their own lib/framework and claiming it was the best. Now it's a mess cuz even React has variants like Preact, Vite, Next, TanStack... Jesus lol.

I’ve decided on a bit of learning (electron - preact - shadcn - base ui - opencode sdk) and just disabled all ai-related extensions in the VSCode workspace. Reading docs, writing manually, debugging preact compatability, ah feels so refreshing.

the "shopify.ui.overlay.close('modal-id')" does not work at all for Preact extension, it worked for React / pure javascript extension, before 2025-07 version.
