What do you mean you’ve never read Hegel? My idea of foreplay is discussing his concept of Erscheinung as it relates to the dialectical process of Absolute Idealism.

For offshore oil and gas the PRRT system is abused due to high deductibility thresholds allowing corporations to maximise deductions and pay far less than the full rate of PRRT taxes. Effective tax rates fall well below the headline rates for Australia’s largest LNG projects

False that gas industry pays less tax than beer drinkers. Beer excise: $2.7 billion per year cw PRRT gas industry: $1.4–1.5 billion per year. But when you include all tax streams (company tax PRRT royalties payroll land tax other statutory charges) total tax paid by Australia’s gas industry is $21.9 billion per year. Can't calculate total tax paid by beer drinkers but it would be nowhere like $21.9 billion.
