The S&P 500 is heavily dominated by mega-cap stocks, a trend that has many arguing the market is becoming a coin flip for stock pickers. Baby Boomers and Gen X might want to tread carefully and think long-term risk management here.
The only limit left for AI and robots? Our imagination. We’re racing toward a world where intelligence and physical dexterity are basically unlimited. The real bottleneck? Finding meaningful things for them to do. Not just chatbots and warehouse pickers, but entirely new applications we haven’t invented yet: tireless scientific partners exploring the ocean floor or curing diseases overnight, creative collaborators that turn wild ideas into reality, or companions that free humans to live more curious, purposeful lives. Abundance is coming. The question is—what will we build with it? What applications excite (or worry) you most? Household robots? Space explorers? Personal tutors? Something wilder? Drop your ideas below. 🎥 phototeknyc

Why have two date pickers? Or are they for different purposes? Also, the two plus buttons…

I’m white and my class in Oklahoma went out and hand-picked cotton. It’s a horrible job no one should have to do. Your hands get all cut up from the sharp bolls. Now it’s all done by machines; thank goodness. encyclopediaofarkansas.net/e… AI says— Yes, the bolls are exactly what cuts your hands when you pick cotton. When a cotton boll matures and bursts open to reveal the fluffy white fiber, the empty hull (often called a burr) dries out, becoming woody and turning into about 4 to 5 sharp, prickly points. The outer leaf-like sections of the boll, called bracts, also curl back and get stiff and prickly as the plant nears harvest time. Why it hurts: When you reach into the cotton plant to pluck out the lint, your cuticles and fingertips easily brush against these sharp edges. The result: Repeatedly getting poked or having the sharp tips wedge under your fingernails can quickly leave hands sore, swollen, and bleeding. Historical context: Hand-picking cotton was a grueling, back-breaking task largely because of the everyday physical threat of these unforgiving burs cutting and scratching pickers' bare skin.
