Good question! I never knew lmao All I know is that I use cmd for quick one shot stuff that doesnt modify anything while poweshell is for longer tasks and the whole opposite

I never use poweshell

Python is its own headache. RHEL 7 shipped with 2.7 and officially only supported up to 3.6 IIRC so the versioning would have been really out of sync. I basically just decided to stick with Bash and Poweshell 2. Though now I can target 5 soon.

I find often when I get into cases, it doesn’t really matter what IRP is in place for an organization. I’ve watched seasoned sysadmins suddenly forget how to use poweshell when the pressure is on. imho, this is why tabletop exercises are important. You’ve got an IRP? Test it.

The PoweShell modules that I've built over the last five years have all been built and tested on macOS. Combined they have over 1.5M downloads so far! All of these PowerShell modules began life on macOS 🤩 If PowerShell was not on macOS I would have used Python 😮 The majority of the 1.5M downloads are most probably running on a Linux container, especially all those GitHub modules.

セキュアブート証明書期限切れ問題、一つ目がダメだったんだと思い出して再確認しようとしたら、ターミナルが見つからない（前回もそうだった。どうにかした方法を忘れている恐ろしさ）poweshellから直接と試したら新しいpoweshellをという表示。ぐぐって、なんとか新しいpoweshellをインストール

みんな最初はそんなもんです（自分も）先輩に煽られながらcmd(MS-DOS)とpowershellを自分が使えるものしか使ってないですね。 あとcmdとpoweshellでコマンド構文が違いますね。Linuxコマンドに慣れてる人ならpoweshellのほうが互換性と出来ることが多いですね。 RDPはNW環境に依存しますが重いですよね。 synさんのほうが知っていると思いますがAD系の技術（LDAP、Kuberos認証等)はMSが開発したものなのでSSOでは重要な部分になるので使わざるおえないのもありますね。

なんでしょうね笑 GUIでガシガシいけないからですかね。 ちょっと開発環境と本番環境でもちろん違いますが、poweshellで自動化できればまぁですがwindows serverはADのアプライアンスと思ってますからね僕は（暴言笑） そんなの関係なく色々機器触っていると楽しいかなと思っています。
