Same! I used to Love Prismacolor markers but those are hard to come by these days! But Copics are my main marker I utilize!

I had one of those cheap stuff donated and we got into them the last week of school. Literally sharpened them by half to finally get a point. The core kept snapping and falling out. And we weren’t hand sharpening, but using a very good electric sharpener. So I got out a Prismacolor sharpener, and they still broke no matter how gently you tried to sharpen them. They are awful.
And I teach high school art 1–we need something that will hold up to heavy-handed athletes.
I know Ticonderoga is more expensive, but they hold up better.
