wiztree has saved my hard drive, 10/10 recommend
if you work with video files, also check what codec, file format, and bitrate you've saved everything in!
i cut out hundred of GB by swapping old renders from prores 4444 to 422, and converting old lossless AVIs!
Just downloaded WizTree and discovered I had tons of mp4 files with random names taking up insane spaces only to realise that CapCut’s cache has been eating up my storage like CRAZY.
In app, it says the cache size is 13GB but the actual cache folder was a whole whopping 237GB YALL WTF 😭😭😭😭😔💀 It literally kept all the hourssss of my model making clips that I thought I had already deleted. Bruh???🤡
Highly recommend downloading WizTree to find huge hidden garbage (it’s free for personal use and scans really fast and this is not an ad i’m just grateful🙏)

実は今回iPhone17 PROのカメラの検証も兼ねておりまして
←ProResモード(HD / 60fps)
→通常モード (4K / 120fps)
で撮った動画の一部を切り抜いた画像なんですけど、拡大して撮る時や動きがある時はProResモードの方が細かい部分をより綺麗に撮れてそうだなという結論になりました

My custom WASM ProRes decoder is able to decode 8 (eight!!) simulatenous 30FPS 1080p ProRes HQ streams in the browser. Overkill for most people, but a great stresstest!
There's still some choppiness, but that's caused by the canvases and not the decoder. I'll investigate.
After adding shared-memory multithreading to my ProRes decoder, it now decodes a 130-frame 1080p video in ~200ms, right in the browser.
This is 3x faster than multithreaded NATIVE FFmpeg, and 60% faster than Apple's hardware ProRes decoder.
Relentless optimization pays off :)

映像はDaVinci ResolveのRCMでSDRにしたもので、調整は何もしてません、、、、、と言いたかったのですが、

2/ 启用ProRAW或ProRes（如果有Pro型号）
设置→相机→格式→打开'Apple ProRAW'
原因：捕捉更多细节，后期编辑更灵活，专业品质输出。
警告：文件很大（每张25MB），仅用于重要照片。

If you have space on a harddrive then render to a ProRes format before editing on your computer. Highly compressed codecs require a lot of CPU power for real time playback.
Edit in a 4K timeline and you have extra pixels for stabilization at a 1 to 1 ratio. Or downscale to 4k.
