At @salvationarmysf’s Culinary Training Academy, Chef Timothy Tucker teaches culinary and life skills to students, many of whom are in recovery. The CTA is an integral part of The Way Out’s Recovery System of Care, teaching people marketable skills so they can get back on their feet. The program not only focuses on culinary expertise but also equips students with the tools needed to be successful in life. Graduates have been employed at notable locations such as Saluhall and @OracleParkSF, thanks to partnerships with organizations like @ProjectOpenHand and renowned restaurants like Osito and @nopa_restaurant.
