“Tracker” isn’t in design or interface only. I wrote about this in 2021.
My reply:
Have to butt in and correct you Felix, BUT when saying “tracker scene,” this often refers to those who work with ProTracker on the Amiga and the real “fake” tracker actually is LSDJ or Goat because these were made 20 years later influenced by the interface and design only. Milkytracker is just a souped up Fast/Scream and soon replaced by Renoise. I wouldn’t put everyone who’s into the Polyend Tracker as someone who’s also into LSDJ in union. The Amiga guys don’t have any alliance with any tech outside of it.
