Good morning,
We're still taking orders for tomorrow's Click and Collect until 5pm today if you fancy pyclets with poached egg and salmon over the weekend, trying a Welsh rarebit on some grilled cheesey pyclets or just tasty plain with butter and Jam 😋

I'm glad you explained, I was going to. When I was a kid crumpets were called pyclets, I'm not sure if that's purely an East Midlands name.

7 years ago today I was recording the fabulous @paula_mcintyre & the rather wonderful @AngelaHartnett for BBC Radio 4’s ‘TheFood Programme’ They were judging a category finalist. We couldn’t stop eating the delicious pyclets from #derbypycletparlour & laughing

My momma called them pyclets (only place we ever had them) so that's what I say too, whatever the thickness

Pyclets (or pikelets) are supposedly thinner than crumpets, but I'm pretty sure the terms were interchangeable in our house.
