If this is modern and moving forward, I’m going Chris Jones, best defender in franchise history. I know nostalgia clouds the judgment of many fans, but it’s damn near unarguable from where I’m sitting. One common denominator for all recent Super Bowl champions is a dominant inside pass rush. Donald, Carter, Jones, Seattle. Even New England last year as the AFC Champ. Almost went DT but think Chris is a little harder to game plan for due to his inside-out versatility and ability to blow up doubles. Guys like him come along twice every decade league-wide. So value over replacement is key. Kelce was a consideration, as was Tony G, but in the current age finding reliable targets is a bit easier than finding pass rush juice. Tyreek? Nobody wants Cheetah in their locker room permanently. Willie Roaf would probably be my second choice. Buck Buchanan deserves mention too.
