Last I’ll add: this controversial article was republished *word for word* from ROAPE. It may seem strange, but I’m convinced that this same article in ROAPE was in no way an attack on anti-imperialist state projects in the Sahel, but most certainly was intended as such by Jacobin
I may be alone in this, but I think you can think & write critically about the Burkinabè & other AES govs & leaders while still centering the primary contradictions of failed neoliberal systems, peripheral capitalism. neocolonialism, & françafrique that drives them & their people
