It would have been if their numbers shifted. Obviously Ajarakan group up in the Firespring knowing Nu Udra's after them, which lets the Rompopolos spread out more freely since their main enem is occupied.
Then when the Plenty / Fallow comes, Rompos gather as Ajarakan spread out.

Not unreasonable, chilling in the higher zones during the Plenty, lapping up crabs and floating jellies, like a quick migration to snag some rich pickings. Might be thieving off Rompos, waiting for them to blast up the silt before muscling in for the bounty.
