Been ripped off royally by white British tradesmen doing work on my house, but two Romanian guys who were recommended by the structural engineer did a fantastic job of removing an entire chimney stack from the middle of the house and RSJs installed on both floors!

I was just looking at both and the window placement on the stairs is not the same as the original - so if it cheers you up it might not be the same house. Also too many walls have been taken out without any RSJs (I’m an architect)…otherwise a crime against good taste

It wasn't me! I live in terror of hitting something when my wife asks me to put up a shelf. These fuckwits are professional kitchen installers! I thought they'd have their own gadget for finding pipes, wires & reinforcing rods or RSJs in the walls.
