RAYNET-UK is a group of licensed radio amateurs who help supply critical communications in a disaster. On 21 December 1988, members of the group played a crucial part in the aftermath of the Lockerbie Pan Am bombing. The BBC has spoken with some of the volunteers and shared their story. It might be cold wet and windy but HWH network will still out supporting the community this evening providing medical cover and community engagement at tonight’s Ware Dickensian Evening. Also working alongside Mid Herts Raynet and Herts Police.

At the National RAYNET-UK AGM today, it was announced that our County Controller and Chairman Jason, M9XTA (formerly 2E0XTA) was awarded the RAYNET Trophy for 2025. Also, Neil, M0NAS was awarded his 25 year service certificate. Congratulations to you both. @raynetuk @theRSGB
