Yesterday I attended the launch of the roadside tree planting project by @REEPGreen, in @wellesley_ca. Thanks to REEP for leading this initiative, with support from @Canada, @RegionWaterloo & area municipalities. Great collaboration—looking forward to seeing these trees grow.

@RegionWaterloo Glad that the region is looking into this! 🙌 Transit should be a negligible cost for students and families alike. That’s why a tiered subsidization system would work best.

That $4 billion shortfall to municipalities is a primary reason why city #roads look like this⤵️. Road maintenance in @RegionWaterloo has been neglected and, coupled with repeated freeze-thaw cycles, this is now the norm throughout the region. #ONpoli #DougFord #neglect 🚗
Municipalities in Ontario are underfunded to the tune of $4 billion and this directly affects hospitals, roads, garbage, and other infrastructure that you need in your day to day #ontario #onpoli #dougford #frankdomenic🍁
